OnePlus Buds 3 to launch alongside OnePlus 12 series: All details

OnePlus is launching the OnePlus 12 series globally, including India, on January 23. The series comprises the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones, along with the OnePlus Buds 3 truly wireless stereo earphones. The OnePlus Buds 3, priced at CNY 499 (around Rs 5,800), feature dual dynamic drivers in a coaxial design with a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter for a broader frequency range. They also offer advanced noise cancellation technology with up to 49dB of noise reduction.

OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 12 series of smartphones globally, including India, on January 23. Along with the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, the Chinese tech company will also launch the OnePlus Buds 3 truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones.

OnePlus Buds 3 price

OnePlus Buds 3 debuted in China earlier this month and the earphones were priced at CNY 499 (around Rs 5,800) in China.


The OnePlus Buds 3 will sport dual dynamic drivers in a coaxial design. There is a 10.4mm woofer with a 6mm tweeter for a broader frequency range (from 15Hz to 40KHz) and a powerful bass. OnePlus says that the earphones will also offer "crisp treble, and deeply resonant vocals."


The OnePlus Buds 3 will come with advanced noise cancellation technology support, offering up to 49dB of noise reduction. 

The Buds 3 are claimed to come with a durable design in two colour options: Splendid Blue and Metallic Gray.


"The design intricately reflects the qualities of high-grade aluminium alloy, lending a delicate metallic finish that conveys a luxurious and refined feel," OnePlus says.

Each earbud will come with a metallic coating and matte finish, and will weigh 4.8g each. The company claims that the earbuds have been tested to fit various ear shapes to offer comfort and stability. They will also offer "more adaptable" sliding touch control for more accurate control over volume adjustments.

OnePlus 12 features

OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform and OnePlus’ proprietary Trinity Engine. It will also come with a 3X zoom periscope telephoto camera coupled with the 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile. There is an X7 Independent Visual Processor co-developed with Pixelworks for a 120Hz display for gaming. It will come with 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.
